A private chef, five nights a week.

Cooked fresh every Monday. Portioned, labeled, and delivered to your door.

What this is

Our weekly meal service brings the experience of a private chef into your home — thoughtfully prepared meals made with fresh ingredients and tailored to your tastes and dietary goals.

Each menu is crafted specifically for you, with flexibility in ingredients, cuisine styles, and dietary preferences. High-protein, low-carb, globally inspired, or comfort classics — every menu is designed to fit your lifestyle rather than the other way around.

You'll see a proposed menu before we shop. Nothing gets cooked that you haven't approved.

How a week is built

Nine components,
five dinners.

Every week arrives as four proteins, three vegetable sides, and two starches. You mix and match across the week, so five dinners never feel like the same plate twice.

4 Proteins Beef, pork, poultry, seafood — your call
3 Vegetable sides Swap a starch for a fourth or fifth vegetable
2 Starches Skip entirely if you're eating low-carb
How portions work. The number of dishes stays the same whether you're one person or two — what changes is the quantity in each container. A one-person plan is portioned for five single dinners. A two-person plan is portioned for five dinners for two.

If your household changes for a given week — guests, a partner back from travel, a teenager with an appetite — tell us when you confirm your menu and we'll adjust portions. Once the food is cooked we can't upsize mid-week.

$200
$40 per dinner · 5 dinners

What the container fee covers

A one-time $50 reusable bag and container fee applies to your first week only. If you ever discontinue service, the containers are yours to keep.

Lunch add-on

Five lunches built to be satisfying, balanced, and easy to eat at a desk. Added alongside dinner service it's $80 per person a week. Lunch on its own, with no dinner service, is $100 per person a week.

Your week, start to finish

The menu is a proposal, not an order.

Sunday afternoon

The menu for the coming week goes up on our site, and the link comes to you by email. Pick your dishes right on the page and send them back. Three weeks are posted at a time, so you can look ahead and book a week in advance if it suits you. Every week has its own menu — nothing carries over from the week before.

Sunday, 8:00 PM

Deadline to reply. Request swaps, adjust portions, or skip the week. Rather have trout than cod? Tired of couscous? Say so — swaps are expected and welcome. We just need to hear from you before we shop.

Monday

Everything is shopped and cooked fresh, then portioned and labeled.

Monday or Tuesday, delivery

Delivered to your door between 3:00 and 7:00 PM. Which of the two days depends on how many weeks are going out — you'll know yours when the week is confirmed. Or collect it yourself at 304 W. Broad Street during the same window, whichever suits you better.

Skipping a week

Traveling, eating out, or fridge still full? Reply by Sunday 8:00 PM and there's no charge for that week. No contract, no minimum, no cancellation fee.

Once you've confirmed your menu and we shop for it on Monday, that week is billed — the food has already been bought. That's the only reason the Sunday deadline matters.

Payment

Once your menu is confirmed we shop and cook, and your invoice goes out Monday morning. It's due on receipt.

Pay the invoice itself by card or bank transfer, or send it any of these ways:

A 3.5% processing fee applies to credit card and PayPal payments. Cash App, Venmo, Zelle, cash and check have no fee.

Billed a week at a time. A week you skip is never invoiced.

Pickup

You're always welcome to collect your order instead of having it delivered. We're at 304 W. Broad Street, Richmond, VA 23220, on your delivery day — Monday or Tuesday — between 3:00 and 7:00 PM.

Just say so when you confirm your menu, and we'll have it bagged and waiting.

This week’s menu

Pick your dishes.

Three weeks are posted at a time, so you can order this week or book one ahead. Choose dinner, dinner and lunch, or lunch on its own — everything in that plan comes with it, already ticked. Untick anything you’d rather skip, and leave a note or ask for a swap on any dish.

Your price comes from the plan and how many you’re feeding, not from counting dishes. Want something different altogether? Choose Something custom and we’ll build it on a call.

Storing & reheating

Reheating instructions go up with the menu.

Every dish has its own reheating instructions, posted online with that week’s menu, dish by dish — so you can pull them up on your phone standing in front of the open refrigerator. The general guidance:

Proteins & starchesOven is best — 325°F, covered, 15–20 minutes. Microwave works: 2–3 minutes, turning halfway.
FishGently and briefly. 300°F for 8–10 minutes, or 90 seconds in the microwave.
VegetablesA hot skillet for 3–4 minutes keeps texture far better than a microwave.
Salads, wraps, bowlsMeant to be enjoyed cold. No reheating needed.
Shelf life. Meals are cooked the morning they go out and are at their best for about four days. If your fifth dinner lands on Friday or later, move that container to the freezer when it arrives and thaw it overnight in the refrigerator before reheating.

Allergies & dietary needs

Tell us everything up front.

We regularly build gluten-free, dairy-free, low-sodium, low-carb, pescatarian, and vegetarian plans, as well as calorie- and macro-conscious menus.

Before your first week, we need to know about:

We take allergen cross-contact seriously, but we cook in a shared kitchen that handles all major allergens. If you have a severe or anaphylactic allergy, let's talk it through directly before you sign on.

The intake form is where all of this goes — allergies, the ingredients you won't touch, your delivery day and window, how you like things seasoned. About eight minutes, and it saves as you go.

Sample menus

Two real weeks from two different clients.

The first client eats carb-free, which is why five vegetables appear in place of starches. Yours would be built to your exact diet.
